Our final full day!

Hi everyone,

Well what a day for both groups - a huge adventure for everyone! Everyone has completed a very long, tough hill walk which has required maximum effort and excellent team work. It has been one of the hottest days of the week so it has been a real challenge for all children (with minimal complaint) and I am so proud of each and every one of them! We have seen some outstanding views and Miss Cullen's group managed to enjoy another boat ride and a tasty ice cream. Everyone is looking forward to seeing their family and friends tomorrow.

Day 2

Hi everyone, Day 2 has been just as exciting as yesterday. We all woke to a lavish full English breakfast which set us up for the day. We all  had our first room inspections (which went surprisingly well!). Let's hope we can keep it up all week. We separated into our groups and Miss Cullen's group headed straight back down to the marina where we had a morning on the river in canoes. We built two rafts and had great fun learning how to navigate them in the right direction as it was especially windy. We weren't the best when we started but we really challenged ourselves and became pro's by the end of the morning. This afternoon we went orienteering around the grounds and got to grips with map reading ready for our hill walk on Thursday! Mrs Norton's group conquered their fears first thing this morning with a trip to the big swing AKA 'death swing'. They were all fantastic and did so well with an extremely challenging activity.
