Day 2
Hi everyone,
Day 2 has been just as exciting as yesterday. We all woke to a lavish full English breakfast which set us up for the day. We all had our first room inspections (which went surprisingly well!). Let's hope we can keep it up all week.
We separated into our groups and Miss Cullen's group headed straight back down to the marina where we had a morning on the river in canoes. We built two rafts and had great fun learning how to navigate them in the right direction as it was especially windy. We weren't the best when we started but we really challenged ourselves and became pro's by the end of the morning. This afternoon we went orienteering around the grounds and got to grips with map reading ready for our hill walk on Thursday!
Mrs Norton's group conquered their fears first thing this morning with a trip to the big swing AKA 'death swing'. They were all fantastic and did so well with an extremely challenging activity. After their lunch they went gorge walking - they came back looking freezing and fresh! They all faced barriers they had never come across before but took it all in their strides.
To round the day off we played a selection of team building games - some were tricky; others made us laugh a lot!
We look forward to sharing tomorrow with you all. Night x
